Repository
Propel Adult Literacy houses a repository of resources to support New Mexico literacy programs, including examples of forms for tutors and students, current research, activities for students, examples of other program procedures and documents, and much more.
If you are looking for something in particular, have a look in the repository (contact us if you need access). If you have a request for something that is not on there, please let us know.
Community of Practice
In addition to an annual directors' meeting, we host regular meetings with program directors and managers with the purpose of building a community of practice for collaboration and support. We invite participants to share their wealth of knowledge and experiences.
If you are a New Mexico program director or manager who is interested in sharing your knowledge, bringing in a visiting speaker, or leading a meeting on a particular topic, please contact us.
We also hold tutor support meetings on the fourth Thursday of the month for questions, ideas, thoughts, or anything else on tutors' minds.
Tutor Drop-in Meetings
We hold monthly tutor drop in meetings on the last Thursday of each month from 3-4 MST. While facilitators have a specific topic for each meeting, they are also designed for you to bring your questions, ideas, and challenges to share and discuss with others. If you are an adult literacy tutor in New Mexico, please join our tutor listserv here to receive direct emails about upcoming meetings and professional learning opportunities.
Direct Support
Our Literacy Team members are available to support you! Contact them directly (see Meet the Team) or schedule a meeting if you have specific questions, would like to discuss your program, or even just need a little technical help.
